Frost* is doing it for the kids

Frost* is doing it for the kids

Frost* and Neeson Murcutt Architects have been working collaboratively on the signage and environmental graphics for the new Library at Stanmore Public School. Shown above, the main sign inspired by astack of books, is in the process of being painted directly on the brick surface at the Libray’s entrance. The library is an opportunity to inspire creativity within a educational facility and encourage active student engagement building on a strong sense of community within the school and local surrounds.

Edible Outdoor Rooms

Edible Outdoor Rooms

When the Rawson Lane Arts Association put out a call for volunteers to help plant seedlings on Foster Street for their ‘Edible Outdoor Rooms’ project, Frost sent a small army of volunteers. The Frosties had fun getting their hands dirty planting chillies, grapes, lettuce, strawberries, chives, mint and so much more. A big shout out to Sam Crawford Architects for all their hard work on this project http://www.samcrawfordarchitects.com.au/edible-outdoor-rooms/ We’re excited to see, feel and taste all this goodness on Foster Street.

A shining example

tl

One of Frost’s key strengths is our ability to work across cultural borders and we recently took pleasure in helping Chinese retailer TL Jewellery launch their business in Australia. Focal to our commission was creating a logo that is evocative of high-end jewellery and can work across signage and packaging. The solution elegantly translates the letterforms T and L into a geometric composition that draws on the visual cues of jewellery design and is reproduced in a stunning metallic gold.

Making a statement

CBA

A dynamic digital wall makes an impressive statement about the Commonwealth Bank’s commitment to the environment – greeting visitors and staff alike with real-time statistics on the green performance of its new Darling Walk Campus. The wall is part of a wide-ranging signage and environmental graphics scheme developed by Frost* for the Campus, which also includes a 17.5 metre curved lenticular wall – the largest we know of in existence. The signage and graphics over 55,000 sqm establish a distinctive sense of place and identity for the different workplace settings, including the cube and globe clubhouses on Level 1, exchange café and atrium carpet.
